Wong received her Master of Fine Arts at the School of Creative Media of the City University of Hong Kong (2019) and Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) in painting from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (2014).
Her works transform observed social and related human behavioral phenomena through different forms of moving images - documentaries, visual ethnography and video art.
Apart from her video projects, she also teaches at tertiary institutions and universities in Hong Kong. Elaine is also the founder of art platform Altermodernists to promote visual arts in Hong Kong.
